Ethical Equine Youth Academy

The Youth Academy is currently full and not accepting new youth students until further notice.

My aim is to teach the next generation of ethical equestrians about equine ethology and behavior, how to become independent problem solvers by creating their own training plans from start to finish, and help them understand what respect and autonomy looks like when training horses.

The youth lesson season runs from April through October yearly with limited weekly availability.

Until I am able to obtain more lesson horses on my property (Williamsburg, Ohio) to accommodate more students, we are currently full until further notice.

I am working towards offering monthly pop-ups at other local equestrian facilities who are interested in being host sites for ethical, positive reinforcement horse training and learning.

Clicker Kids Animal Academy

If you have an animal loving kid, you may want to consider signing them up for Clicker Kids Animal Academy!

This is a learning academy for youth who want to learn positive reinforcement (R+/clicker) animal training with their pets! All virtual classes are available from Outschool.

• Live classes (via Zoom, all instructors are background checked and classes are recorded for parents only)

• Self-paced, pre-recorded classes

• 1:1 animal training tutoring sessions via Zoom

• Enrichment/non-training activity classes available, too!
